My name is Vedran Križek and I am a technical product owner, business analyst, and software architect with over 30 years of experience designing and building large-scale, high-traffic web and mobile systems across Croatia, Austria, Serbia, Germany, and the Netherlands.
Over the years, I’ve led the design and launch of some of Croatia’s largest online platforms, including njuskalo.hr, 24sata.hr, vecernji.hr, and tportal.hr. As CTO and co-founder of Trikoder, and later as Head of Business Analysis at Undabot, I managed teams of up to 50 people and guided projects from pre-sales and discovery, through engineering, to final delivery.
This gave me a deep understanding of every aspect of the software lifecycle—from early discovery and requirements analysis to architecture, engineering, and operations. I’ve seen what makes projects succeed, and just as importantly, how to fix them when they go off track.
To put it another way: I’ve been around the block, and I’ve seen a lot.
My biggest differentiator is the combination of comprehensive engineering experience and deep business analysis/functional design expertise. I know how to apply both in practice, fitting into existing organizational structures and improving them where they struggle. I also put great focus on keeping my engineering skills sharp and up to date, because the core of my approach is applying theory in real-world projects.
For my clients, that means they get both a consultant and an operational team member in one.
Alongside client work, I publish articles on Medium and regularly share my knowledge at regional conferences such as BA & Beyond, BA Day, CROBA and Product World, as well as at local BA and engineering meetups.
